Shek Tong Tsui Public Library, Public library in Central and Western District, Hong Kong.

Shek Tong Tsui Public Library occupies the third and fourth floors of a building at 470 Queen's Road West in the district. The facility provides access to multimedia resources, newspapers, periodicals, and computer services for the community.

The library opened on 22 August 1977 as the Urban Council West District Public Library, housed in the Yong Fat Building at 516 Queen's Road West. It moved on 15 October 1991 into the new Shek Tong Tsui Municipal Services Building at 470 Queen's Road West, built on the site of Chun Sing Street, and took its present name. In 2000 the Urban Council was dissolved and the library passed to the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

The library's name preserves a street erased by construction: Chun Sing Street, named on 17 October 1919, was a food street of tong lau tenements and dai pai dong stalls before it was closed for the Shek Tong Tsui Municipal Services Building. The Urban Council rejected the planned name "Chun Sing Complex" because the street no longer existed, so the building and its third-floor library took the district name instead.

The library sits on the third floor of Shek Tong Tsui Municipal Services Building at 470 Queen's Road West, with a students' study room on the fourth floor. The building also houses the market, cooked food centre and sports centre, so lifts are shared with shoppers and gym users. The MTR University Station B2 exit lies near the site of the former Shek Tong Tsui Market at the junction of Hill Road and South Lane.

The library opened on 15 October 1991 on the third floor of Shek Tong Tsui Municipal Services Building, moving from its earlier home in the Yong Fat Building at 516 Queen's Road West, where it had operated since 22 August 1977 as the Urban Council's Western District Public Library. A students' study room sits on the fourth floor.
