One HarbourGate, Office complex in Hung Hom district, Hong Kong
One HarbourGate comprises two 14-story office buildings and two retail villas providing around 55,000 square meters of commercial space positioned along Victoria Harbour. The complex mixes office and retail uses in a waterfront setting.
The development opened in 2016 and represents a shift toward waterfront integration in Hong Kong's commercial district. Its design references traditional sailing vessels from the South China Sea region.
The design incorporates maritime references through vertical glass features that echo the movement of vessels, connecting the buildings to the harbor's working waterfront character.
The complex connects directly to five major rail lines, a bus terminal, ferry services, and the cross-harbor tunnel for easy access from anywhere in the city. Excellent transportation links mean you can reach it from all neighborhoods without difficulty.
The complex features landscaped ventilation corridors woven throughout that improve natural air circulation while connecting the urban space to the waterfront. This environmental design choice shapes how visitors move through and experience the entire site.
