Former Residence of Lei Feng, Memorial residence in Leifeng Subdistrict, Changsha, China
The residence features three reconstructed thatched huts and traditional folk architecture situated within the Wangcheng District of Changsha city.
Originally built during the Qing dynasty as a landlord's house, Lei Feng resided here from his birth in 1940 until 1956.
The residence includes a memorial hall containing 349 exhibits that document the contributions of Lei Feng to Chinese society.
The site stands 15 kilometers from Changsha Railway Station and maintains regular opening hours for visitors throughout the year.
A five-meter-tall statue of Lei Feng, created by sculptor Zhu Weijing, stands in the square adjacent to the residence.
