Kampen, Mountain summit in Bavaria, Germany

The Kampen is a group of three peaks in the Tegernsee Alps of Bavaria: the Ochsenkamp at 1,594 m, the Auerkamp at 1,607 m and the Spitzkamp at 1,604 m. The ridge continues southwest to the Brandkopf and the Seekarkreuz. On the slopes of the Ochsenkamp, the Hirschbach rises in the Staffelgraben to the northwest and a tributary of the Söllbach in the Raffelgraben to the southeast.

The Kampen group consists of three summits: Ochsenkamp (1,594 m), Auerkamp (1,607 m) and Spitzkamp (1,604 m), in the Tegernsee Alps of the Bavarian Prealps. The ridge continues southwest to the Brandkopf and the Seekarkreuz. Hikers usually traverse all three summits, starting from Lenggries or Bad Wiessee; the Spitzkamp has short steeper, exposed and secured passages.

The Kampen group is a classic ridge crossing in the Tegernseer Berge: hikers usually traverse all three summits, Ochsenkamp, Auerkamp and Spitzkamp, in one walk. The route continues southwest over the Brandkopf to the Seekarkreuz on the same ridge.

Marked trails lead to the peak from Lenggries and Bad Wiessee, with parking available at both starting points. Both routes are well-signaled and accessible to experienced hikers.
