Rhine Bridge, Steel truss railway bridge in Worms, Germany.
The Rhine Bridge stretches 930 meters across the Rhine River with three main spans and parallel struts supporting its railway tracks.
The initial bridge opened in 1900, was destroyed in 1945 during World War II, and the current structure was constructed in 1960.
The bridge forms part of the Worms-Biblis railway line, connecting communities and industrial zones on both sides of the Rhine River.
The bridge structure underwent substantial renovations between 2009 and 2012 to replace the eastern bank flood bridge while maintaining railway operations.
This bridge represented the first application of tied-arch spans for railway bridges in Germany during its original 1900 construction.
