Schloss Stetten ob Lontal, Renaissance castle in Niederstotzingen, Germany.
The castle stands one kilometer south of the lower Lontal valley, positioned on elevated hills above a former medieval fortification site.
Wilhelm von Riedheim owned the property in 1357, followed by several noble families until Count Carl Leopold von Maldeghem purchased it in 1821.
The architecture combines Renaissance elements from its 1646 construction with Baroque features added during renovations between 1712 and 1748 by Valerian Brenner.
The castle remains in private ownership since 1976 and does not permit public access, though its exterior can be viewed from surrounding hiking trails.
Count Maldeghem transformed the castle into a multipurpose facility, operating it as both a school and town hall while also renting portions of the building.
