Schloss Stetten ob Lontal is a Renaissance castle near Niederstotzingen positioned on elevated hills overlooking the lower Lontal valley. The structure was built on the site of a former medieval fortification and commands a prominent location above the surrounding landscape.

The castle was built in 1646 in Renaissance style on the elevated slopes of a former castle site. Between 1712 and 1748, Valerian Brenner carried out extensive renovation and restoration work in Baroque style. In 1821, Count Carl Leopold von Maldeghem acquired the building and its properties from the Lords of Riedheim for 100,000 guilders.

The village of Stetten ob Lontal grew around the castle, which sits about a kilometre south of the lower Lontal valley. From 1821 Count Carl Leopold von Maldeghem used the building as a school and a town hall and also rented it out, so the former noble seat served the village administration. Since 1976 it has been private property and is not open to the public.
