Jügelhaus, University building in Frankfurt, Germany
The Jügelhaus features elaborate white stucco walls, light red marble surfaces, and large arched windows that fill the interior with natural light.
Built in 1906 by architect Ludwig Neher, the Jügelhaus represents the Baroque Revival movement that characterized European architecture in the early 20th century.
The building contains a ballroom equipped with a 1947 neo-baroque organ designed by Professor Helmut Walcha, which enhances musical performances and ceremonies.
Located at Senckenberganlage 25, the ballroom accommodates 278 seated guests or 250 standing attendees for various events, including conferences and celebrations.
The central chandelier and decorative elements combine with modern amenities to create a space managed by the Senckenberg Gesellschaft für Naturforschung.
