Windmühlenstraße 16, Early 20th-century villa in Weimar, Germany
The Villa Deinhardt features large windows, ornate details, and a park-like area that extends across the property at Windmühlenstraße 16.
Architect Rudolf Zapfe designed this residence in 1906 for Wilhelm Robert Deinhardt, a local brewery owner who maintained the property until 1937.
The villa represents the architectural preferences of successful industrialists in Weimar during the early 1900s, joining other Jugendstil structures in the area.
Visitors can reach the villa by taking local transportation to Windmühlenstraße, where the building stands as a registered cultural monument.
Court photographer Louis Held captured the villa and its expansive grounds in 1928 from the neighboring Selve house, creating a lasting record.
