Waterland WaterPark, Water park in Tagarades, Greece
The water park stretches across 150,000 square meters of land, featuring multiple water slides, artificial wave pools, and recreational lakes near Thessaloniki.
Established in 1994, this facility became the first water park in Greece and developed into the largest aquatic recreation center in southeastern Europe.
The park reflects Greek summer leisure traditions by incorporating spaces for social gatherings, sports activities, and family-oriented entertainment throughout its grounds.
Visitors can reach the park via regular bus services from Thessaloniki city center, with the journey taking approximately 30 minutes from downtown.
The facility maintains a small zoo where guests encounter camels, deer, and peacocks while moving between different water attractions.
