Designated as a classified historical monument since 1909, Fort du Mont Alban represents 16th-century military architecture and serves as an important element of the defensive heritage of the Nice region.
Open from July to September on Wednesdays and Sundays from 9 AM to 12 PM, the fort offers guided tours at 3 PM, 4 PM, and 5 PM with admission fees of 7 euros for adults and 3 euros for reduced rates.
Positioned at 220 meters altitude, the fort provides exceptional panoramic views extending from Bordighera in Italy to the Estérel Massif, with clear days offering glimpses of Corsica on the distant horizon.
