The Hôtel Prince de Galles features 159 rooms and suites designed in the Art Deco architectural style with contemporary furnishings, a spa, a fitness center, and several dining venues including the Michelin-starred restaurant Akira Back.
Opened in August 1929 and designed by architect André Arfvidson, the hotel was built using stones from the Chaillot quarries that also supplied material for the Arc de Triomphe, and was named to honor Edward, Prince of Wales, who later became King Edward VIII.
