Menhir de Kerluhir, Neolithic menhir in Carnac, France
The Kerluhir Menhir stands 4.33 meters tall near the hamlet of Kerluir, featuring distinct erosion marks across its granite surface.
Archaeological excavations conducted by J. Miln in 1876 revealed Gallo-Roman artifacts including bricks and pottery near the stone monument.
The menhir represents early human settlement patterns in Brittany and functions as a central element within the megalithic landscape of Carnac.
The stone monument sits 200 meters south of Kerluir hamlet and 300 meters northeast of Cloucarnac, with clear state property markers for visitors.
A notable dolmen called Roch-Vihan exists 80 meters east of the menhir, creating a concentrated area of prehistoric structures.
