Quadrilatère du Manio

The Quadrilatere du Manio consists of 83 standing stones arranged in a rectangular formation measuring 37 meters long and varying from 7 to 10 meters wide.

Archaeological excavations conducted around 1890 revealed the remains of an ancient tumulus, which was once topped by an old windmill at the site.

The stone structure represents an essential component of the Carnac stones, forming part of the largest collection of megalithic monuments in France.

The monument stands 45 meters north of the Giant of Manio menhir and remains accessible throughout the year for visitors interested in prehistoric architecture.

The granite blocks forming the quadrilateral structure maintain a consistent height of one meter, creating a precise geometric pattern in the landscape.
