Church of St Nicholas

Church of St Nicholas is an Eastern Orthodox building in Baroque style located in Vukovar, notable for its tall bell tower with architectural detail. The interior contains a vaulted nave organized into four distinct areas and houses a collection of religious objects from earlier centuries.

The building was constructed in the 1730s, replacing an earlier wooden church that stood from around 1690. It suffered major damage during armed conflict in the 1990s, which led to ongoing restoration efforts inside.

The church holds deep meaning for the Serbian Orthodox community, with its decorated interior serving as a gathering place for worship and prayer.
