Mosque of Rijeka

The Mosque of Rijeka is a modern prayer house located in the Gornji Zamet neighborhood with a distinctive dome composed of five interconnected sections. The structure incorporates geometric shapes in its design and provides space for worship and religious gatherings.

Construction began in 2009 with the building opening in 2013, supported by financial backing from Qatar. The completion marked an important moment for establishing a permanent place of worship in the coastal city.

The mosque serves the local Muslim community as a place of worship and gathering where Islamic practices are observed daily. It functions as a spiritual center that welcomes visitors interested in understanding different religious traditions.
