Csillagvár, Medieval castle in Balatonszentgyörgy, Hungary.
The Csillagvár Museum occupies a star-shaped structure on a wooded hill near Lake Balaton, with thick stone walls and a Greek cross-shaped cellar system.
The castle played a defensive role during the Turkish invasion campaigns in the 16th and 17th centuries before becoming a hunting lodge for the Festetics family in 1820.
The Hussar Museum section displays 150 tall figurines wearing traditional Hungarian military uniforms, alongside weapons and armor from different historical periods.
Located 10 kilometers from Keszthely, the museum includes an animal farm, playground, historical exhibitions, and a traditional Hungarian restaurant with local wine selections.
The central chamber contains a medieval well extending over thirty meters deep, while life-sized dioramas present scenes of castle life throughout the building.
