Powerscourt Waterfall, Natural cascade in County Wicklow, Ireland.
The waterfall drops 121 meters from the upper section of Glensoulan valley, flowing through the River Dargle from its source on Tonduff mountain slopes.
In 1821, Viscount Powerscourt attempted to dam the waterfall for King George IV's visit, resulting in the destruction of a bridge during water release.
The waterfall location served as a filming site for multiple productions, including the medieval fantasy film Excalibur and the television series Vikings.
Entrance tickets cost 7.50 euros per person, with the site operating from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM between November and February.
Japanese Sika deer roam the grounds since their introduction by the 7th Viscount Powerscourt in 1858, adding to the natural environment.
