Moy House is a country house set on a slope with two levels, with a single-story front elevation that masks the lower floor containing a dining room and library overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The building combines classical architecture with updated interiors and functions as both a restaurant and guest accommodation.

The house was built in the mid-1700s for Sir Augustine Fitzgerald, a prominent local figure, establishing it as a family seat in County Clare. It later changed hands and underwent extensive restoration work that shaped its current appearance.

The nine bedrooms are named after local townlands connected to the Fitzgerald family, linking the house to the surrounding community through its room names. This naming approach reflects how the property is woven into the fabric of County Clare's past.

The property sits about 3 kilometers south of Lahinch along the N67 road, with convenient access to nearby beaches and coastal attractions. Visitors can easily reach Lahinch Beach or explore other points of interest along the shore during their stay.
