Avtalion

Avtalion extends across a hillside at 283 meters elevation, providing residents with views of the northern Galilee landscape and agricultural areas.

Established in 1987 as a moshav shitufi, Avtalion developed from an agricultural cooperative into a modern residential community within the Misgav Regional Council.

The settlement bears the name of a respected rabbinic sage from the pre-Mishnaic period, connecting the modern community to ancient Jewish traditions.

The settlement maintains direct road connections to major Galilee cities while offering local agricultural activities and community facilities for its 470 residents.

Residents participate in collective decision-making processes regarding settlement affairs, combining individual home ownership with shared community management.
