Peki'in

Peki'in is a human settlement located in Upper Galilee on a mountainous plateau at approximately 750 meters (2,460 feet) elevation. The town sits on steep terrain with winding streets that follow the natural contours of the landscape.

The Peki'in Cave contains archaeological evidence from the 5th millennium BCE, including decorated ceramic burial vessels that reveal early settlement patterns. These remains demonstrate that people have continuously inhabited this region for thousands of years.
