The Hope, Bronze sculpture in Carmiel, Israel

The Hope sculpture depicts a woman lifting her child toward the sky, representing the start of a new generation in the Holocaust Memorial Park.

After escaping from Dachau concentration camp, artist Nicky Imber initiated the creation of this memorial sculpture in Carmiel during 1978.

The sculpture stands as part of a larger Holocaust Memorial Park series entitled From Holocaust to Resurrection, connecting with the Israeli national anthem Hatikva.

The 1.2 million dollar bronze sculpture with green patina stands at coordinates 32°55′18″N 35°18′07″E, accessible through local transportation routes.

A team of six craftsmen spent five months creating this monument, progressing through cement and wax stages before the final bronze casting.
