Canada Park, Natural park in Ayalon Valley, Israel
Canada Park spans 7,000 dunams across Mediterranean woodlands, containing springs, archaeological remains, walking paths, and recreational facilities at the foot of Jerusalem hills.
The park includes remnants from multiple periods, featuring a Hasmonean fort, Second Temple burial caves, Roman baths, and sections of an ancient Crusader fortress.
Memorial ceremonies take place annually to commemorate over 300 American and Canadian Jews who died in Israeli conflicts or from acts of terror.
Visitors can access the park from Jerusalem by taking the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway and following signs at Latrun Junction toward Mevo Horon.
The park contains several water sources, including Ayalon Springs, Date Palm Spring, and Ayub Well, supporting local wildlife such as turtles and gray ravens.
