Hurvat Manot

Hurvat Manot is an archaeological excavation site with remains of dwellings and structures scattered across hillside terrain in northern Israel. The ruins span multiple periods and reveal layers of settlement from different eras.

The area was inhabited by different groups over thousands of years, with remains dating from ancient through later historical periods. The layered deposits at the site document how settlement patterns changed over time.

The site sits close to Manot Cave, where remains of people who lived here tens of thousands of years ago were discovered. This proximity links the excavation site directly to some of the earliest human presence in the region.
