Noach Kinarty Overlook, Scenic viewpoint in Jordan Valley, Israel

Noach Kinarty Overlook is a birdwatching and observation point on the Sirin Ridge at 264 m above sea level, about 460 m above the Jordan Valley floor. It stands beside the Noach Reservoir, which is fed by the Yarmouk River, and looks east over the Jordan Valley, the Sea of Galilee, the Golan and Gilad. A wooden shelter, a bench, an explanatory sign in Hebrew and English, a labelled panorama board and a telescope stand at the site.

The overlook and the adjacent reservoir are named after Noach Kinarty (1941–2010), a member of Kvutzat Kinneret who helped found the Jordan Valley Water Association and directed it from 1980. In 1992 he advised Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin on settlement affairs, and in 1997 became water adviser to the defense minister, heading the water team in talks with the Palestinians, Jordan and Syria. The site was inaugurated on 14 October 2013, built by the Water Authority and the Jordan Valley Water Association.

The overlook and the adjacent reservoir are both named after Noach Kinarty (1941–2010), a member of Kvutzat Kinneret who helped found the Jordan Valley Water Association and directed it from 1980. He later advised Yitzhak Rabin on settlement affairs and served as water adviser to the defense minister, heading the water team in talks with the Palestinians, Jordan and Syria. A memorial stone here reads: "In memory of Noach Kinarty, a man of truth, vision and deed, who loved people, land and water."

Reach the overlook by turning off the road to Menahamia and climbing south toward the Sirin ridge; the site is accessible to visitors with disabilities. A wooden shelter and bench stand at the viewpoint, with a recorded audio guide in Hebrew and English, a panorama photo board marking the visible sites, and a telescope. The reservoir is fenced, but a gap with peepholes in the shelter allows views of the water.

The reservoir beside the overlook is fed by water from the Yarmouk River and belongs to the irrigation system built for the orchards and field crops of the Jordan Valley farms on the Siron ridge. A wooden shelter with peepholes at different heights lets visitors look at the fenced reservoir.
