Hecht Park

Hecht Park is a coastal green space in Haifa that stretches along the shoreline for several kilometers. It features exercise equipment, children's playgrounds, and extensive walking paths for visitors.

The park was created in 2008 and transformed an unused coastal strip into a public recreational area. This development reflected a plan to improve access to nature for local residents.

The park is accessible from two parking areas and offers plenty of space to walk and relax. The pathways are clear and easy to navigate throughout the grounds.

Natural water pools form seasonally in two river channels that run through the park, creating small ecosystems. These temporary pools attract local birds and wildlife throughout the year.
