Hecht Park

The park extends 1.2 kilometers between Hagana junction and Derech Tzarfat intersection, featuring a width of 60 to 70 meters along the coastline.

Established in 2008 through the vision of architect Grinshṭain Har-Gil, the park transformed an empty coastal strip into a public recreational space.

The park connects multiple neighborhoods of Haifa through its pathways, creating a meeting point for residents from different communities.

Two dedicated parking lots provide access to the park's facilities, which include exercise equipment, children's playgrounds, and three kilometers of walking paths.

Seasonal water pools form naturally along two river channels that cross the park, supporting local vegetation and creating mini ecosystems.
