Bahraich district

Bahraich district is an administrative area in northern Uttar Pradesh situated between two rivers, comprising alluvial plains with forests and farmland. The land is primarily used for agriculture, with villages spread throughout the region.

The region was once part of the ancient kingdom of Kosala before coming under the control of medieval rulers. Over the centuries, different powers shaped the area and left their mark on its development.
