Gulab Bari, Historical tomb in Faizabad, India.
The Gulab Bari features a square structure with arched verandahs, crowned by a large dome and surrounded by rose gardens and water channels.
Built between 1753 and 1775, this mausoleum contains the remains of Nawab Shuja-ud-Daula, the third Nawab of Awadh, and his mother.
The tomb complex includes an Imambara and a mosque, making it an important center for religious ceremonies and community gatherings.
Visitors can reach the monument through Faizabad railway station or take buses from Lucknow, located 152 kilometers from the site.
The walls of this monument, constructed with Lakhauri bricks, connect to an underground passage that extends to a water reservoir in Lucknow.
