The three-building mansion contains 125 rooms, 300 windows, and 287 carved doors spread across 6 acres of landscaped grounds near Kukkarahalli Lake.
Built in 1905 at a cost of 7 lakhs rupees, this mansion served as a wedding gift from Maharaja Chamarajendra Wadiyar X to his daughter Jayalakshmi Ammani.
The mansion houses three distinct museums featuring archaeological artifacts, folk art collections, and royal family items that represent Karnataka's heritage.
Located 5 kilometers from Mysore Junction, the mansion opens from 10 AM to 1:15 PM and 2:30 PM to 5 PM, except second Saturdays and Sundays.
The mansion features a square-shaped Kalyana Mantapa hall with large teak pillars and a 40-foot-high glass dome that illuminates the interior space.
