Koyambedu Junction, Road junction in Koyambedu, Chennai, India

Koyambedu Junction, also called the Koyambedu Roundtana, is a road junction in Chennai where the Inner Ring Road meets Poonamallee High Road (NH4), just north of the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus. The National Highways Authority of India built an elevated parclo interchange there with three arms of a cloverleaf design, and the 20,000 sq m of space around it was landscaped.

India's National Highways Authority built this elevated Parclo interchange to reduce congestion for interstate bus transportation. The construction was part of efforts to better manage traffic passing through Chennai.

The junction is named Koyambedu Roundtana after the locality, and it lies just north of the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus, so interstate buses pass through it constantly. The 20,000 sq m of landscaped ground around the interchange, planted from 2013, is what a visitor notices beside the roadway.

A police booth beneath the bridge is staffed by officers who coordinate safety with regular patrols. Expect heavy traffic during peak hours.

In 2013 the highways department began landscaping 20,000 sq m around the interchange at a cost of ₹11 million; the work is finished, and other Chennai interchanges are planned to get similar treatment.
