Nili Chhatri, Hindu temple near Yamuna River in Delhi, India
The ancient Nili Chhatri temple features an octagonal structure with a blue-tiled dome and multiple arched entrances near Nigambodh Ghat.
The temple's establishment is credited to Prince Yudhishthira of the Pandavas, who conducted the Aswamedha yajna at this location.
Devotees visit the temple to worship Lord Shiva in the main dome area, while additional deities receive offerings in the outer sections.
Located 1.4 kilometers from Chandi Chowk Metro Station, the temple remains open throughout the year and receives many visitors on Mondays.
The temple structure includes colored encaustic tiles in green, blue, yellow, and orange, with Quranic verses displayed within its walls.
