Nizampatnam mandal, Administrative mandal in Bapatla district, India
Located on the shore of Bay of Bengal, Nizampatnam mandal extends along the banks of Krishna River with an elevation of 7 meters.
The region, formerly called Petapoly by Dutch settlers and Pettipolee by British colonizers, derives its name from the Nizam of Hyderabad.
The mandal population maintains traditional celebrations while supporting eight villages where Telugu serves as the primary communication language.
