Kumbhavurutty Waterfalls

Kumbhavurutty Waterfalls drops in two distinct stages over rocky ground, with water plunging roughly 25 meters into clear pools below. The cascade flows as part of the Achankovil River system and creates natural swimming basins within the forest setting.

The Achankovil River, of which these falls form part, has supplied water to Kerala communities for hundreds of years. This waterway shaped farming patterns and how people settled in the region across many generations.
