The Adventure Park encompasses 48 acres of land next to Ashtamudi backwaters, featuring walking paths, recreational areas, and a boat club for water activities.
The park opened its gates to visitors in 1980 as a municipal initiative to create a recreational space in the center of Kollam city.
Ten notable sculptures, including 'Do not disturb' by Shenlay and 'Buddha 99' by Chavara Vijayan, stand as permanent art installations throughout the park grounds.
Visitors can access the park daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with an entrance fee of 95 rupees per person and additional charges for boating activities.
The park contains Kerala's first open-air gymnasium with 19 fitness installations and a protected mangrove forest that supports marine species reproduction.
