Binsar Devta is a Hindu temple located at about 2480 meters (8,135 feet) elevation in Bisaona village, built with stone and featuring religious sculptures within its main chamber. The temple was built in the 9th or 10th century by Maharaja Prithu to honor his father Bindu, following the Katyuri architectural style found in the region. The shrine has retained these early structural features throughout its long history.
