Phoenix Marketcity Bangalore, Shopping center in Whitefield district, Bangalore, India
Phoenix Marketcity is a shopping center in the Whitefield area with four levels of retail space. The complex holds several hundred stores and dining options alongside a multiplex cinema with multiple screens.
The center opened in 2011 in the fast-growing Mahadevapura business district. It was developed by The Phoenix Mills Co. Ltd with architectural design by Benoy.
The space brings together Indian and global fashion brands in one setting, reflecting both local tastes and contemporary shopping habits. Visitors encounter regional clothing styles alongside international designers and multilingual bookstores.
The complex has ample parking and sits near the Singayyanapalya metro station on the Purple Line. Getting here by car or public transit is straightforward for most visitors.
The complex enforced environmental standards starting in 2016, including rules to reduce plastic bag use. This early step toward sustainability was uncommon for shopping centers in the region at that time.
