War Memorial Garden, Military memorial museum in Bangalore, India
The National Military Memorial Park spans 7.5 acres with a central obelisk and walls displaying names of 22,000 fallen soldiers.
The memorial, inaugurated in 2013 after extensive planning and legal processes, stands as India's first post-independence tribute to military personnel.
The memorial maintains a 207-foot flagpole with the national flag permanently raised, symbolizing the dedication of Karnataka's soldiers to India.
The park welcomes visitors daily from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with entry fees of 15 rupees for adults.
Fifteen military exhibits, including tanks, missiles, rockets, and aircraft, provide an educational display of Indian defense equipment.
