Chaneti Buddhist Stupa

Chaneti Buddhist Stupa is a circular structure in Yamunanagar with a hemispherical dome made from bricks arranged in concentric circles. The monument stands roughly three kilometers east of Jagadhri town and displays the typical form of ancient Indian stupas.

This monument was built in the 3rd century BCE as part of early Buddhist activity in India. The Chinese traveler Hiuen Tsang encountered the stupa during his journeys and recorded it in his writings.
