Parsian Esteghlal International Hotel

Parsian Esteghlal International Hotel, International hotel and skyscraper in District 3, Tehran, Iran

The Parsian Esteghlal International Hotel is built as two connected towers reaching about 57 meters high, containing 504 rooms and 48 suites spread across 16 floors. The complex includes multiple restaurants, conference halls, sports facilities, a swimming pool, and contemporary features throughout all guest areas.

The building was originally developed as the Royal Tehran Hilton, with the first tower opening in 1962 and the second tower added in 1972. Iranian architect Heydar Ghiai designed this structure as an expression of modern design during the Pahlavi era.

The hotel displays Pahlavi architectural style through its white concrete structure mixed with crushed marble, which has maintained its original look across the decades. This distinctive material choice shapes the building's appearance and gives it a recognizable character.

The hotel is easy to locate and provides multiple access points for guests and visitors. Onsite staff can help with directions and access to different facilities throughout the property.

Following the 1979 Islamic Revolution, this property was renamed Esteghlal, which means Independence in Persian, marking a shift from international to national management. This name change reflects a turning point in the country's history.
