Sabet Pasal Palace, Palace in Amaniyeh, Tehran, Iran.
Sabet Pasal Palace is a two-story building made of marble and plaster located in a residential neighborhood of Tehran. Its design follows the layout of the Petit Trianon in Versailles and sits on a substantial piece of land.
Construction of this palace began in 1949 under the ownership of Habibollah Sabet and was completed in 1961. Ownership changed after the Iranian Revolution in 1979.
The building brings together Persian and European design elements that you can see in every room. Walking through it, you notice geometric patterns and decorative details that blend these two traditions together.
The palace is located at the intersection of two main streets in District 3 and is easily accessible by road. You can view the building from the street or arrange a visit to explore the interior.
A protection agreement was secured in 2017 to prevent the planned demolition of this building. This agreement saved one of Tehran's largest historical houses from being destroyed.
