South Tyrol Arena

The South Tyrol Arena contains 20 kilometers of slopes suitable for winter sports competitions and features a dedicated shooting range for biathlon events.

The stadium marked its establishment in 1971 and underwent substantial modernization in 2006, with renovations costing approximately 6.9 million euros to expand spectator facilities.

The venue has organized multiple Biathlon World Championships since 1975, bringing together international athletes and contributing to winter sports development in South Tyrol.

Located at 1,635 meters above sea level, the stadium provides seating for 9,000 spectators and maintains designated areas for competition judges.

The arena achieved a record attendance of 117,000 spectators during the 2007 World Championships and will host events for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
