Les Dames Anglaises

Les Dames Anglaises consists of multiple mountain spires reaching 3601 meters, situated between Aiguille Noire and Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey in the Mont Blanc massif.

The first successful ascent of Les Dames Anglaises occurred in 1901 when the Duke of Abruzzi, accompanied by guides Laurent Croux and Cyprien Savoye, reached the summit.

The formation comprises five distinct pinnacles: Isolée, Punta Casati, Punta Castelnuovo, Punta Jolanda, and Punta Crétier, each named after significant alpine figures.

The Bivacco Piero Craveri shelter, located on the northern col separating Les Dames from Picco Gugliermina, provides essential protection for mountaineers during expeditions.

The mountain spires form a sequence of vertical rock towers at coordinates 45°49′09.26″N and 6°53′24.18″E, creating a distinct silhouette in the Western Alps.
