Palazzo Gallenga Stuart, Baroque palace in Perugia, Italy
The palace exhibits ornate architectural details with a facade featuring symmetrical columns and large windows separated by brick cornices.
Construction of the palace began in 1748 under architect Francesco Bianchi, commissioned by Giuseppe Antonori and completed in 1758.
Since 1921, the palace functions as the main building of the University for Foreigners, dedicated to teaching Italian language and culture.
The palace opens its doors for guided tours, allowing visitors to explore the decorated rooms and climb to upper floors for city views.
The palace contains a small theater where young Carlo Goldoni performed, leading to the naming of an adjacent room as Sala Goldoni.
