Stella Maris

The concrete structure features five rising arches, continuous window lines, and a grand nave that extends into two opposite chapels at the entrance.

Built in 1956 by the Franciscan Fathers and architect Carmelo Bordone, the church emerged to meet increasing religious needs of Milano Marittima's post-war growth.

The interior displays 14 panels of the Way of the Cross by sculptor Umberto Bortolo, alongside a wooden crucifix against multicolored stained glass windows.

Mass services occur daily at 18:00 on weekdays and Saturdays, with additional services on Sundays at 9:00, 11:00, and 18:00, plus confessions throughout the week.

The church houses an electric organ built by Giuseppe Zanin with 44 registers and 3,000 pipes, which supports the annual organ festival Venerdì alla Stella Maris.
