Palazzo Campofranco, Noble palace in central Palermo, Italy.

Palazzo Campofranco is a palace in central Palermo featuring a three-part neogothic facade with stone and tuff elements. The front is defined by tall windows and stone columns that support ornate balconies, creating a structured and vertical composition across the building.

Prince Antonio Lucchesi Palli di Campofranco commissioned the palace in 1835, with architect Emmanuele Palazzotto designing the unified facade inspired by Palazzo Abatellis. The building was formed by consolidating several older noble houses that stood on the same site.

The palace was created by merging several noble residences, including properties of the Gioeni family and the Filangeri of San Marco, which shaped Palermo's aristocratic identity. Walking past today, you can notice how different architectural styles and details from these earlier houses were brought together into one unified structure.

The palace stands at Piazza Croce dei Vespri 8 in central Palermo and is easily accessible from all sides. The building underwent extensive restoration in 2023, so the facade stone elements appear newly detailed and sharply defined today.

During the 2023 restoration, the company CusenzaMarmi used 3D digitization technology to recreate damaged tuff elements on the facade with precision. This method allowed them to restore historical details faithfully using modern techniques.
