Giovanni Rambotti Civic Archaeological Museum

The Giovanni Rambotti Civic Archaeological Museum is located in Desenzano del Garda and presents finds from the Bronze Age. The collection is organized into four sections and displays objects mainly recovered from the Lavagnone area.

The collection originated from archaeological work that began in 1873 during peat extraction near Desenzano. These excavations uncovered a large quantity of artifacts from prehistoric settlements in the region.
