Palazzo Manzoni, Historical palace in Piazza Morlacchi, Perugia, Italy
The three-story Palazzo Manzoni exhibits a grand entrance framed by travertine columns and features a symmetrical facade with brick pilasters along its exterior.
The palace construction occurred between 1681 and 1703 under the Aureli family, who merged multiple existing structures including a 15th-century house and Palazzo Saracini.
The third floor contains a room with early 17th-century frescoes depicting scenes from Torquato Tasso's Jerusalem Delivered within the Department of Art History.
The University of Perugia acquired the building in 1960, transforming it into an academic facility for the Department of Letters, Languages, Literature, and Civilizations.
A barrel-vaulted corridor leads to the main staircase, while the secondary entrance opens to an atrium decorated with 19th-century grotesque ornamentation.
