Kuwana

Kuwana extends across 136 square kilometers at the intersection of three major rivers: Ibi, Nagara, and Kiso, forming a delta near Ise Bay.

The settlement gained prominence in the 10th century as a hamlet, later developing into a commercial port during the Muromachi period from 1338 to 1573.
