Shinjuku Koma Theater, Former theater in Kabukichō, Tokyo, Japan

The Shinjuku Koma Theater contained 2,088 seats and featured a stage with three concentric rotating circles for advanced performance capabilities.

Established in December 1956, this entertainment venue operated until December 31, 2008, before its complete demolition in 2011 to make way for Shinjuku Toho Building.

The theater presented numerous performances ranging from traditional Kabuki plays to musical shows, including the notable Kōhaku Uta Gassen competition in 1958.

Located at postal code 160-0021 in Tokyo's entertainment district, the theater maintained regular programming of stage productions throughout its operational years.

The stage design incorporated ancient Greek theater elements while serving as a central platform for both traditional Japanese arts and modern entertainment forms.
