Satte

Located at the intersection of three prefectures, Satte spans 33.93 square kilometers with a population density of 1,500 inhabitants per square kilometer.

The area evolved from a post town on the Kamakura Kaido during the Kamakura period and maintained its role through the Edo period along trade routes.

Gongendo Park contains 1,000 Yoshino cherry trees extending one kilometer along the riverbank, planted in 1920 for the annual Cherry Blossom Festival.

The city connects to major transport routes through the Tobu Railway Nikko Line and the Ken-O Expressway, facilitating travel throughout the region.

The municipality features 19,000 square meters of rapeseed flowers that bloom alongside cherry blossoms, creating a dual-colored natural display in spring.
