Yūrakuchō, Commercial district in central Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan

The district stretches between Ginza and Hibiya Park, featuring numerous restaurants and shopping centers beneath elevated train tracks of the JR Yamanote Line.

The district name originates from Oda Nagamasu, also known as Yuraku, who constructed his residence on land received from Tokugawa Ieyasu near Edo Castle.

The Gado-shita area contains hundreds of traditional izakaya and yakitori establishments that line both sides of the railway tracks for 700 meters.

The district connects to multiple transport options through Yurakucho Station, serving JR lines and Tokyo Metro, with direct access to Ginza and Hibiya stations.

The DN Tower 21 in Yurakucho served as the headquarters for Supreme Commander Douglas MacArthur during the post-war occupation of Japan.
